73 400 Sbc to 700R4

I'm building a 400 sbc to go in my 92 rs and i was wondering if anyone could tell me for sure if the flexplate from my 400 will fit a 700r4 and if the 400 starter would have enough clearance? I've done several searchs and haven't found much information. Thanks

Yes to everything, with a "but".

But the starter might hit headers, if you have them. Mini starter is the "usual" fix.
