hi all thanks for the help in advance.

im headed to florida to get my 90 camaro rs 305tbi up and going again and my father and i are swapping the engine from a 90 suburban which is a 350tbi and was searching for what all is needed so far i know i need to swap over some parts and need a 350 ecm, anything else? and i was also wanting to do the vortec head swap i found some heads in the junk yard that are on a 97 1500 and was wondering what all needed to be done. ive searched high and low and have gotten told what to get but then told i didnt need them. so im confused. i know i need the vortec tbi intake, vortec heads, possibly the drivers exhaust manifold and tube, do i need to change the cam? what kind? should i just get the vortec cam and chip from the truck in the junk yard?

A 350 TBI knock sensor
you only need a 350 chip for your ECM , not the whole ECM

Any specific chip or just a 350 tbi 700 r4 chip?

You will need larger injectors atleast 55#hr, The prom is easy to install. Remover the two 1/4 screws holding on the access cover on the ecm. Remove the prom. If the prom is stuck you can gently pry under the prom holder tabs using the ecm for leverage one side of the prom alittle than the other side. The prom can only go in one way you will see its holder has different spacing on one side vs the other.

Wow ya that is easy. Thank you. Is the 55 injectors on the 350 tbi already? Or do I get them from which vehicle?

The 350 would have the 55#hr injectors.
