iv got an exhaust leak and everyone thinks it my donut gasket? do stock exhaust on a 2.8 have these?? how much to they cost to replace?

Its a GM thing for the most part, Buick were the only ones smart enough to ditch them for a metal to metal connection.

As donuts suck since they banned abestos, its always when will they leak.

clear silicone helps em seal better if its not blow out, just miss shapen.

what would an exhaust shop charge to just replace it or even tighten it and silicone it?

Not gonna happen, try to losen or tighten and for sure, all of them will just snap right off, maybe 1 will move but have no threads once lose, having to drill n tap new ones. Which Buick still did too.

I took it one step farther and drilled them out completely to use a nut and a bolt, knowing they will just freeze up and break off on removal, much easier to do that way, no drilling each time.

gonna cost money as it will be a job in the tight spaces.
