Looking for a deep sounding muffler?
Can anyone recommend me a good deep sounding muffler?
Id like to stay away from flowmaster and glasspacks.
I want a nice rumble at idle but not too loud, and i want to hear it on take off.
Im thinking either magnaflow, dynomax or borla, can anyone make me a few suggestions?

Re: Looking for a deep sounding muffler?
I just switched from a flowmaster single chamber to full magnaflow system and dont think I'll ever run anything but magnaflow again. Completely changed the sound of the car not to mention the nice rumble at idle, I keep meaning to get a sound clip but I hate camera mics. I'm an audio engineer so I want to use one of my studio mics but I need about 100' mic cable to do it. Never heard any dynomax, and borla usually makes anything sounds good, just the pirce tag is big.

If you want a deep sound and not stupid loud, the hooker aerochamber is the muffler you want. This isnt the greatest video, but turn up your volume and you can hear how deep it sounds. Btw this is a 305 with hooker headers and hooker catback, no cat.

Haha yes thats my car. Its the 16820 cat-back, so the muffler that comes with that. Hooker 2055 headers with 3 inch y pipe, no cat, 3 inch piping up to the muffler, with 2.5 out of the muffler.

Re: Looking for a deep sounding muffler?
No lie. Took me ages to find the perfect muffler, but I'm glad I looked. I'm going with a 3" Classic Chambered Powerstick. Definitely a few bucks more than I wanted to spend on a muffler but they sound amazing and don't flow half-bad.
