Re: camaro interior in a firebird?
I put a Camaro console in my Firebird with the stock Firebird dash and it took a bit of cutting and fitting to get it in but I like the look of it a lot more than the Firebird console so as far as the console goes no worries there. If you're swapping in a Camaro dash the console should go in fairly easy but I can't say anything about how the dash will fit. I say go for it, you can always change it back.

It's not as easy as you might think...
The side supports will NOT support the Camaro dash. You would need to remove them from the one car and install in the other. These would be where the lower dash bolts go up from the bottom into the body brackets.

I've never been a fan of the Camaro interiors, I always thought they looked cheaper than the Firebird ones. Therefore, I'm gonna say leave it as it is. Consoles can be repaired, and if you keep checking your local junkyards, you'll score a mint dash pad for cheap sooner or later.
