Camaro Generations (Sacramento, CA)
I do not know if this has been posted before. I have been on and off this website forum a few times and now that I have a 3rd Gen again I am paying more attention and time on here so I can get back into the swing of things on the 3rd Gen side. But besides that, I want to let everyone know about Camaro Generations. www.camarogenerations.com we think of ourselfs as one of the largest Camaro clubs in Northern CA. But but we are open to call Camaros of shapes and sizes and young and old, project or daily driver and so on....
I do at least one main monthly event and have 1 monthly meeting. From car shows like Autorama and Sacramento International Auto Show to all the local shows in the area. Last year we hosted our very first show in Elk Grove to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was a great turn out. We are doing it again this year (Oct 17th 2010). And we do have a small online forum aswell on our website www.camarogenerations.com and we have pictures of our past events also posted....
So please come check us out! We are a family oriented Camaro club open to all years of Camaros and Camaro enthusiasts. Camaro Generations is based out of the greater Sacramento, California area.
Oh and we just started a Facebook Group page as well.
If you have any questions please feel free to write me back or you can email me speed_racer49@hotmail.com
I have been writing and the monthly Newsletter for the club for about 4 years and have been a major role in the club.
Thanks again.

Re: Camaro Generations (Sacramento, CA)
Thank you for posting it here. I check that website once in a while. I'll mark my calendar for that weekend. I met couple of members already at my shop. I missed the car show last year and I regret not showing up. I will definitely show up this year with at least 2 clean Camaros and Maybe 1 Trans Am GTA. Stop by my shop one of this day so we can have a little chat.

Cool, thanks for posting. I've met a couple of the members in this club.
Looks like the October car show is open, not just Camaros, so I will try to attend.

Re: Camaro Generations (Sacramento, CA)
Thanks everyone for checking it out. Sorry for the long response, I have been looking for work. I was working for Chevrolet for 3 years and I no longer want to do car sales and want to get back in building cars and restorations. But besides that I have been doing some restoring of this IROC-Z. I just got some LLoyds Mats and some aftermarket t-top covers. I just replaced the fan relay for the cooling fan. and I am looking for the right sending unit for the temp sensor. It is reading hot but not running hot. And just today the A/C compress just went out and it was converted to R134a at one time. I know or have hear of you Bennie, I have been meaning to stop by your shop to have your opinion on what needs to be done to get this IROC-Z running in tip top shape. I know the Bo Hobart with the white 92 who is in our club has told me all about you.

Re: Camaro Generations (Sacramento, CA)
Nice turnout today despite the weather being less than favorable towards the end. Good to meet those of you that I got a chance to talk with. After being bummed that I didn't win anything, turned out the judged put me in the stock category instead of the modified category. So they awarded me 2nd place 1980-Present Modified Camaro. First went to a 2010 Camaro. Was anyone else surprised that they lumped all the Camaros together like that? I thought there would be an award for 1st gen, 2 gen, and so on, I was surprised to see myself and other 3rd gens having to compete with brand new cars. In any event, had a great time, met some cool people, and got an award to boot. Look forward to doing this again next year, and maybe they'll have an award for ever gen next time.

Re: Camaro Generations (Sacramento, CA)
Nah its easy I made a fan mounting system for the LS1 fans and I it missing the screw so I guess it vibrated out and then the fan vibrated against the radiator rubbing a hole in it. I dont run the cooler so just a couple hoses and rigging up the mount better and I was done. I could have went. But then I have to stop and check the coolant level and I had to be back in town by 1. Next year I guess.
