Weight Loss Program

I just had my Firebird weighed on all 4 corners, and its not as light as the "slide scales" at the track said it was.

3300lbs w/ a 210 lb driver. There was a difference of about 200lbs difference between the R/R & the L/R. With a full turn of the R/R adjustable sway link, the weight on the rear equaled out w/ me in it.

Soon to be removing the front & rear bumpers, & front & rear glass. I cant part w/ my power windows yet.

No, not bad at all. I'd be happy with that weight.

Re: Weight Loss Program

I'd love to do a 4 corner scale some day. My car launches and drives straight and I have no idea how balanced the weights are. It's a gutted out race car and this year, I got the weight down to 3020 with me in it 20 more pounds to go and that's hard to find when I keep adding stuff.

Re: Weight Loss Program

Last time I weighed myself, I was around 170 pounds. I'm more concerned with race weight. Car, driver, fuel etc sitting on the starting line. That's how much weight the engine has to move down the track. The only time I want to only know just the car weight is when I want to know how much weight the car trailer is carrying.

Re: Weight Loss Program

I just wanted to know how much the vehicle weighed, because i am 295 Lbs, so it means allot for me to know where you are sitting with no operator inside.
