Felpro gasket material for turbo flange.
I was up at Crappytire at lunch time getting some odds and ends for the ttz28, and I came to this 1' x 2' peice of Felpro gasket material. It has a steel middle layer like what you would find on an exhaust manifold gasket and has a layer of some type of fiber on both sides.. The description was Felpro Pro Ramic 121 something something.. It looks like it will work for my turbo flange to header seal..
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Hrm, got this reply from a guy on my thirdgen mailing list, sounds good to me =)

Cheers!

If that was in response to me you misuderstood me. A lot of turbo cars out there just have the flanges milled flat and don't run a gasket. Those that worry about it just use some high temp rtv (copper plus is the high temp sensor safe stuff) between the flanges.
BTW, I thought I noticed some of the same threads here as at third-gen@f.body.org...
