Re: lowered my camaro (pics)
they were very difficult to make since i had to make the design from scratch... well i was basing it on the 25th anniversary stripes...o yea and that was my fist time ever laying down stripes and they came out straight as an arrow... u just gotta take your time on them...

Re: lowered my camaro (pics)
i dont get any rubbing at all maybe because i have 1.75" spacers....... and yea i actually got the idea from you.. i saw how u had cut yours so i was like why not.... turned out good ride isnt that harsh and i just drive real slow on bumps or inclines....

Re: lowered my camaro (pics)
The stance is perfect. The car looks great. Mine is lowered about the same as yours. I prefer dead nuts level rather than a rake forward (too old school for these cars). The color of yours just knocks me over! Nice! If I weren't trying to keep the ole' jalopy original (authentic anyways) I'd put set of those wheels on it in a heartbeat. Well done.

yea about the stance i wanted it to be even but the front dropped alot.. it seems to somewhat even out with a full tank of gas..... besides any lower in the rear and the 19"s in the back would be a problem..........

Re: lowered my camaro (pics)
Damn you're brave cutting another quarter coil from the sportline spring. Your car looks really good but honestly it's too low in the front for my taste, not looks wise but functionality wise. I bet you have to be ultra careful driving anywhere other than smooth highway or your going to scrape up the front spoiler .
I'm also running the sportline springs and the front is too low out of the box.
Three reasons that I don't like the sportline kit are
1. The sportline has a soft spring rate and I've noticed that I'm hitting the frame bumpers alot more. Shock travel is also reduced bigtime.
2. I can't get a freakin floor jack under the front. I have to either drive up on some blocks or put a bottle jack under to raise up the body first.
3. I don't care for the raked look and like a more dead level look.
I'm going to be pulling mine out here in awhile and get some Guldstrand springs with a higher spring rate that I'll cut to height. My ultimate setup would be to get a set of lowered spindles and then have longer suspension travel while still having the low look. Even with that setup I'm sure I'll have to still use the blocks or bottle jack to get the floor jack under though.

i have my sportlines cut the same way and have not hit the front lip yet, u just have to be a little carefull, and i live in Toronto, anyone who lives here knows how bad the roads can be! i think it just depends on the type of driver you are, some people expect that they can lower a car and still drive it like a 4x4, also i need to drive on blocks to jack it up, but really how big of a hassle is that, i think my only real complaint would be a the harsh ride, but really if i wanted to ride on a cloud id drive a BMW, as for the raked look i cant speak for the op but with mine it really just looks more raked in the pics than anything, when u see my car in person u can barely get a finger between the rear fender and tire
