KYB GR2 vs Gas-a-just
Just wondering what the difference is between these. I was going to get the GR2 front struts and I am deciding between the Gas-a-just and GR2 rear shocks. I figure since I am getting the GR2s up front and they dont make the gas a just struts I would get GR2s in the rear so I have matched front and rear struts/shocks. However I see that a lot of people get the GR2 front and GAJ rears. The price difference isn't that much but I thoughtit might be better to use the same line of KYBS all around.

I have cars equipped with stock struts, on with Bilsteins and one with KYB.
If I ever buy another set it will be Bilstein or equivelant +.
It mya be hard to swallow the dollars now, but your ride and your butt will enjoy it alot more.
There is no comparison.

I guess nobody answered your question...
I am also thinking about purchasing the KYB Gr-2 struts.
I'll probably call KYB tomorrow and ask them.

Gas-a-justs are a hi pressure monotube shock, like Bilstein. Most people go with the GR2 strut and gas-a-just rears. KYB does not make gas-a-just struts. As far as the shock, gas-a-justs are much better then GR2s.

Thanks for the info.
I didn't get a chance to call KYB, but I am probably
just go with GR2 all the way around.

I don't know about the GR2's, but I know the Gas-a-Just's carry a lifetime warranty, and are mono-tube vs. the GR2's twin tube design. I have GasaJusts on my autox car, and my roomate has GR2s on his Focus, I know that's not comparing thirdgen to thirdgen, but the Gas-a-Just seems to be a much higher quality piece to me.
