Why is my car skipping?

Hey guys, I'm new to this fuel injected stuff, any reasons why my car may have a fairly bad skip (especially down low) and hesitation? It has new wires, plugs, rotor and cap, it's getting fuel just fine, I just don't understand what the problem can be. I have cleaned out the throttle body and checked for vacuum leaks (replaced any bad lines) yet the car still skips, has a rough idle and hesitates.

A check engine light had come on a while back, even though the hesitation was already there. The idle was severly altered afterwards though. Now, after new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, the light is gone, but the problem still exists. What can this be? Give me some things to check out, before i rip this crap right out of the car and stick a carb on it.

Have you changed the pick-up coil ?

Check your fuel pressure .
Is your fuel filter clogged ?
Is your fuel pump working properly ?

Walk out at night and pop your hood , look at your ignition coil to see if you have spark leakage . It's cool to see , if it is , b/c you will see blue spark .But not cool cus ya have to change it !

I hope this helps you man . Goodluck !
