Do i need to get pushrods with a cam?
Im trying to save money but are pushrods needed with a new cam??? My car has headers stock 416's heads. and 3701 intake. If anyone can suggest a good performance cam in which i wont need to replace my pushrods itll be very appreciated.
Edelbrock suggest the 3702 but i dont believe this will give me much performance compared to a stock camshaft.

well your last post said change the cam... no indication as to what so the assumption was that you were going to replace it with stock which wouldn't require new pushrods....
now you are talking a performance cam the further you go from stock the more likely it will be that you need longer pushrods...
as the increased lift of a performance cam comes from removing material from the heel of the lobe which makes the lifter sit lower in the bore requiring longer push rods to maintain rocker geometry...
no the edelbrock cam is an antique and wont provide the same increases that a newer grind from almost any other company will
