T-Top rubber for 1991 Z28

We have replaced the door rubber and the rubber that goes around the T-Top and down the door on the car itself. Now we need to find the soft rubber piece and the hard rubber piece that goes on the sides of the T-Tops themselves. My dads friends looked for them in his database (he owns a paint shop) and it showed the T-Top rubbers as discontinued, which is odd because we got the other two rubbers from the same place, so why would that one piece not be in stock?

So anyways, now I'm wondering where to get these at. Is there an aftermarket shop that sells them online or something?

Perhaps this is the part you need?

That does look like it. I can't tell those, does that have a hard rubber strip over the top of the soft rubber to allow water to roll off of the top, or is it just the soft rubber for the door seal?

Re: T-Top rubber for 1991 Z28

1Aauto.com have both, although they seem to be temporarily out of stock of the outer drip edge:

Rubber and drip edge
EDIT:
Scratch that last part. The outer drip edge is an aftermarket piece that 1Aauto is working on developing. It says to click the "notify me"-button if you are interested in this item. They also list part numbers for the OE replacement parts:
10198352 and 20453467. I didn't find much when searching the web for them, but I don't really know where to search for OEM parts as I'm more of an aftermarket kinda guy. You could try your local dealership. They might be able to help you.

You never know. I guess the more people that show interest in it, the more incentive they have to complete their development process. On the other hand, the fact that they have pictures of what seems like a finished product may suggest that all the need to launch the product is a market for it. If I were you I'd give them a call or send an email, and if you do, let us know how it turns out. I'll be replacing most of my weatherstripping after I finish my engine and chassis mods, so I'll be needing those t-top rubbers as well.

Well we went to our dealer and they just tell us no go, discontinued. We've spend a long while online and can still not find the drips. There is a right side one on hawks third gen but no left side one! This is maddening.

Re: T-Top rubber for 1991 Z28

My dad and I are thinking of just buying the soft rubber for the under piece, and then buying some rubber that is close to that of the original. Then use the original on the driver side as a template to create our own strips, since the drip strips seem impossible to find out of a set.

Re: T-Top rubber for 1991 Z28

Have you tried contacting 1Aauto to find out how long it might take before the drip edges will be available for purchase?

Re: T-Top rubber for 1991 Z28

I took the liberty of emailing 1Aauto about the part, their answer was they had no ETA yet but hopefully would be ready soon. On a side note, I saw that there is both a rubber and a plastic version, in case you have a preferance of material.
