cehvy 350 driver side dipstick
I am replacing my 305 which had the dipstick on the passengers side witha a chevy 350 engine .The engine is of 010 series and has teh dipstick on the drivers side. I am using the orignal maifolds that came with the 305 due to monetary issues. It turns out that the dipstick will not behind the manifold on the driver side. Any suggestions?

Some have bent it to fit. The dipstick handle winds up facing the firewall and can be a pain to check. You may want to live with that until you can get headers and properly position it (and enjoy the better exhaust).

305 manifolds choke a stock 305 dramatically so your 350 will be no different. Good news is that it will give you something to look forward to when the money is right.
