Could you please use some punctuation in your next post. It is hard to read posts like that.

Start searching for TPI mods in the TPI forum. Spend some time reading various threads that focus on TPI cars.

Every car likes the same mods no matter who makes them.

Intake
Exhaust
Internals

It is up to you to make sure your fuel system and ignition system are up to snuff to supply your new power. If you swap cams you need to get into chip burning. The Hypercrap won't cut it.

I would go with a mild cam, like the generic 204/214 dur @.050, .420/.442 lift cam that Summit and others sell for like $100. I ran that cam in my 86 305 and it will really wake the car up (to the tune of an honest 25+ hp at least...) and will work fine with the stock chip. If you're cheap like me you can also do the 25 cent FPR mod, ie throw a quarter in the top of the fuel pressure regulator above the spring assembly, it will effectively bump the fuel pressure by around 4-5 psi... Or you can buy a AFPR for $50 and bump the pressure that way.

Make sure you port/cleanup the plenum and stuff while you're at it if "dremaled the Tune port out" didn't include knocking down the EGR walls in the plenum and such.

After that I'd look to the exhaust, a set of headers and a catback would be excellent.

As your car sits I doubt very seriously you'd hit the 14s, you don't appear to have much in the way of mods at all, the Hypercrap will do jack, whatever dremeling you did won't do much at this point. After a cam and exhaust upgrade I'd be very surprised if you didn't drop your time considerably...

Hoppy,

I'm guessing that this was all in fun, and not necessarily intended to offend anyone. That would be my guess, anyway.

As for your question, Ray has it covered pretty well. The plenum volume is not nearly as important as the port matching at the runners and base. The factory did a rather poor job of that, and it can create a flow restriction. The other place to clean up is just behind the throttle body, at the intake openings of the plenum.

Adjusting the fuel pressure isn;t likely to help much until you do something about flow. That cam and a decent set of springs to match should improve upper end power and extend the useable RPM range a bit.

If you like to tinker a bit, you can make your stock FPR adjustable fairly easily. You might also consider a custom PROM in place of that HyperTech. Ray already covered that problem, too.
