700R4 tailshaft housing and drive gear removal
I'm half way through swapping over my rebuilt 10 bolt with the new posi and gears and I'm needing to remove the tailshaft housing to swap out the driver gear in the 700R4. What I'm wondering is...
1. Is there a lot of fluid in the tailshaft housing? If the rear of the car is jacked up, will there be fluid running out to warrant a pan to collect it or just the odd drip?
2. Is there any special process for removing the clip that holds the speedo gear on?
I'm just wanting to be prepared and remove any potential surprises.

JamesC. Hey thats a good post man. That's some good info. Basically it isnt too hard to do at all to the OP. You'll be able to knock it out in no time.
