Car: 1989 Firebird and 1996 WS6
Engine: 2.8 MPI, and 5.7 Ram Air
Transmission: 5 spd manual, automatic
Anyone read 'How to rebuild your GM V6 60'??
I saw this book online, and was thinking of picking it up for my project car....anyone heard of it? Or maybe a better more helpful book??

Transmission: 5 speed (for all 3),auto for T/A
Axle/Gears: 3.45 (GTA only)

Not familiar with that book. If you're looking for re-build info, the Haynes manuals are okay, Helms for your model year is excellent and for the first time builder, www.boxwrench.net has an excellent video that takes you through step-by-step. The video is based on a 350 V-8 re-build, but the principles are the same.
