This is my twin throttle body plate nitrous setup, I have an LT1 style plate with a high and low bar, and a TPI plate with centrally located bars, I had to move the throttle cable to the spot for the cruise control or something, but I got it to work right. Running 2 10 pound bottles, and a really trick little setup for injecting race gas on the second shot, Motor is a completely stock 140,000 mile smokey 350 tuned port I bought at the junk yard for 350 bucks complete... still have the reciept for that steal hanging on my fridge As for the jetting, first ones got a 175 shot nitro jet with a 150 shot fuel jet, second stage runs race gas from its own pump, has carbeurator jetting for a 100 shot, nitro jetting for a 70 shot... she HAULS!!! very very VERY sleepy car till she goes to sleep for good!!
I'll try yet again: This is obviously still in progress, Vortech SQ, with Edelbrock TES, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Goodyear silicone coolant hoses, 180 degree thermostat, Jet fan switch, MSD spark control, coil and plug wires; there's more - I won't bore you with the rest.

There it is! Nice engine bay! Very clean. As far as the list,
I don't get bored with that! Those are the what make the
car go

When you get that together, swing by my shop sometime. I'd like to hear it .. I've never seen another vortech thirdgen in person. Sees everyone goes the other routes.
Curiously, when you spin the pully by hand, give it a quick twist. Whats it sound like? I think the bearings in mine are shot.
One thing I'd like to add. While your ahead, don't mess with your fuel lines.. Leave them alone and ebay the FMU, BTM, and extra pump. Get a 255lph in tank, and repin your ecm to run $60 code.
You'll be a happier camper, and you could always swing by for help tuning.
Just thought I'd toss out another pic, now that I've discovered the problem (pic size too big). Here's my friend Doug assisting on Nov 20, when I was finally ready to drop it in (I started this project in May).
Joe, I am interested in your suggestion about the fuel system, but I don't have the knowledge with regard to repinning the ECM and I don't know anything about $60 code. Maybe you can suggest an info source. My email is scaledave@comcast.net. Also I can't spend much more money - I'm 5 grand into this.
Additional items for Camaro_nut: Walker 3" cat, Edelbrock cat back 3" exhaust w/ stainless muffler, MSD plug wire separators, and a rediculous amount of money for paint and stainless hardware.

Yup, looks good! I wish I had more time into the paint
and stainless parts of my motor! Cause it sure looks
good on yours. That thing looks better than my crate
motor when it was still in the crate! LOL
Is the TPI intake system stock? Is that gonna be
restrictive at all? What is your Hp/torque estimate?
I am running about 355-365hp with over 400 ft lbs.
But that's just on the motor. I would like to supercharge
my motor someday. But I am running 9.4:1 comp.
with only high silicon aluminum pistons. Can I actually
get sufficient supercharging with a motor like that?
Is 12PSI possible? If not, doesn't matter. Just wondering.
My engine is entirely stock internally and so is the TPI system. I believe that the Vortech V-2 SQ is 6 psi, and Vortech swears that the stock motor can take that boost without any issues. Yes, the intake system is somewhat restrictive, but up to a certain point the expensive fan in the front shoving air in doesn't care - it's still going to do its best to keep shoving. Other mods like better flowing intake components, different cam, etc. would help increase the output, but then my connecting rods would be too weak, my T-5 would explode, and I'd be too poor to fix it. I'm hoping for something like 350 to 365 hp from a motor that puts out 245 normally, so I'll be happy with that; I'm much more interested in a fast, fun road car than a real drag contender. Since you've already got that power, you're one up on me. I'm sure you could put a similar unit on your engine with no problems, but if you want 12 psi I think unless you at least strengthen the bottom end you'll be on pretty shakey ground!
By the way, after what I said about better flowing components you may be wondering why I put on a better flowing exhaust. I already had the exhaust for a previous IROC project, but a heavy snow caused the building to fall on that car. Bummer.
This is my 1987 g-body, all f-fody parts. 355ci, Vortech s-trim, 52mm throttle, all hi temp coated, ZZ3 cam, World products heads, lots of good stuff, aquamist 2d, 7749 ecm $58 mask, working on the $60. Nice daily driver.

If you have a real problem, send me a PM or an email. Otherwise, stop posting stupid pictures. I have a sense of humor, but this isnt the board for it.
This was specially built to fit under the hood of a camaro, unfortunatly this one isnt mine but im working on getting one. I just thought it was pretty imporessive so i posted it for all to see.
