You D!cHeaD$ are f-ing this thread up! Why not grow up, and move along.
that is an interesting way to control the engine, Ive never seen it done without a carburator (or some kind of butterfly) I bet it is hard to control idle that way- JK
I hate you all!!!!! OK i am just really really jealous

Thats bad@$$ guys maybe one day i will be w/ you. Heres a pic, that helps add power to my car, its an engine!
Dirt cheap ($1500, plus a taller hood to fit it), 6 hour install, do-it-yourself simplicity, no carb changes required, full boost from the instant the pedal hits the carpet. It idles and runs around town like it's not even there- very daily drivable. But when you open 'er up you can suck the headlights out of a bolt-on LS-1 from any stoplight in the country.
For those who may wonder- yes, you can install a kit like this on a computer-controlled carbureted 3rd gen F-body with little difficulty, and maintain emissions legality! You can even retain the A/C!
here's the old JYD; T56, moser 9", 355 with "force" EFI, run by an old analog TBI holley projection and home made harness (to run the 8 injectors), with a superpowershot running TPI plate jets, best ever 11.98, 12.000 consistent and a driver (no smog laws). the 19# were an experiment but 24# were the final injector size. I sold it for $7500 to a friend in 99 after some dip broke into it and stole my projection controller (he runs DFI now), and now I miss it. A VIDEO OF IT IN ACTION!!!
hi all just joined and thought that I would post a pic of my project motor. this motor is currently having all the rest of the parts lined up but here is just a sneak peek of it

bbunting how did you get your stealthram to work with the big pro 1's? your project is extremely similar to my 1991 Z28. get your car in readers rides dude. Nice torquearm choice. I gotta get one for the T56 install

Answer is YES, but it costs more to machine it to fit than the intake itself. If I did it again, probably use a Victor Jr. or Dart intake and convert it to FI. The 235 CC heads are HUGE, and require big CI, high RPM, high lift (600+), compression/boost to make them really work. My Dart 230 CC's use a 1206. Dart 220 CNC race heads use a 1207. Not enough material on the SR really.
Here is what it takes to port the Stealth Ram to a 1206:
"89procharged-the intake was a lengthy procedure. I know that I saw somewhere that any machine shop could do it for $150? Well, here is how mine was done for $345, in my words, and it is perfect-both CNC and by hand:
1) weld 360 degrees around the port
2) weld 1/2" material to the roof of the port
3) re-machine the gasket face of the intake
4) machine the outside roof for valve cover clearance
5) dye the face and scribe to 1206
6) hand finish the ports
The other problem is that when your heads are already at a 1206, the stock intake runnner dividers do not match the heads. Those had to be re-machined to line up.

"guns and cars" like "coffee and doghnuts" or "peanutbutter and jelly" I love NFA guns, do you need a stamp for the gun and a separate one for the silencio?
Yup...
Gun and silencer each require a $200 tax stamp...($400 to own them both)
Let me warn you...
This class3 stuff is SOooo addicting...
It's worse than NOS...
I'm planning on refinancing my house in the Spring to buy either a full auto M16, AK47, Ruger AC556, M2 carbine, or any combination of these...
I'm setting aside about 10k for class3 toys...
When I got out of dragracing, I thought guns would be more affordable...
I was sadly mistaken...
I used to figure for a cheap shot the m-16 or ak, but with all the high quality nato 308 being soo cheap coming in now, I myself would be more interested in one of the highly affordable G3 selectfire guns.

If you're serious about buying NFA stuff, check out Tom Bowers NFA Board:subguns.com
There is a ton of neat stuff over there for sale...
I saw a transferrable GE mini-gun for $150,000 a few weeks ago...(A bit outta my league)
M16's go for $5500-$9500
AK47's go for $7500+
Ruger AC556's go for $2800+
M60's are $10000+
As you can see, Class3 stuff is as bad as dragracing...
You could also check out: AR15.com
There's a lot of decent AR deals in the equipment exchange...
Like this site, there are a bunch of good folks over there too...
