Ok, thanks for clearing that up, I guess. I just figured
that since this is a third gen F body forum that you can
only post on topic stuff ( third gens only), that's all.
But if not, then that's cool too.

Well, it's very possible. A co worker of mine has a wife
and a kid. But he still manages to build a T Bucket from
the frame up. All restored. He's even painting it himself!
I don't know how he pulls off everything (work, wife, kid,
and build hot rods and go bike riding!) I assume that
the wife does more of the TLC to the kid.
Also, with any project like that, it will take a lot of time
and patience to get it done. Even if it takes months
or even years. Some people don't care how long it takes,
as long as it gets done.
I believe that Summit or Jeg's sells a specific nitrous
kit from NOS that bolts in the same from to 305 or 350,
as long as it's TPI I think. I believe it's adjustable
as well from 75 to 125 shot.

SOMEONE ELSE has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Everyone post pics of your power adder. - in the Power Adder forum of Third Generation F-Bodies .
TechSmurf i see you had a very budget minded turbo going........how exactly did you accomplish that? it would be nice to add a little umph to the 305 for about 100 bucks!

so far ive invested less than $600 into my twin turbo setup; thats pretty budget minded, i think.

Not something you're going to be able to pull off on a whim... I spent 6 months gathering hook-ups and calling in favors to pull that off. 60 of that went directly into the intercooler, the other 40 into misc connectors, pipe fittings for the oil, hoses, etc. Turbo, piping, and welding were all freebies.
im in automechanics @ school ( my 4th year) ive always seen that you dont rebuild a turbo... is that just at a shop becuz of the specialty need to rebuild it properly... in a shop its usually R&R
Most turbos can be rebuilt fairly easily and inexpensively if you take your time to do it properly. The reason you hear that turbos should be rebuilt by a specialty turbo shop is because of the balancing, as the turbocharger can be spun up over 120,000 rpms. This takes very precise balancing to be perfect. When I rebuild a turbo (by rebuild a mean replace the bearings, seals and gaskets- there really isn't much more to them), I put paint marks on the turbine and compressor wheels and be sure to realign the wheels the same way they came off. This way the turbo should stay close to proper balance (provided it was balanced correctly before). The paint can then be stripped off with carburetor cleaner before reinstalling the housings. Turbo rebuild kits can usually be had for $70-100, and takes about 2 hours to disassemble, clean, and rebuild. So why not do it in the shop? How many auto repair shops rebuild starters and aternators anymore? Same reason they don't rebuild a turbo.
What the heck..I"l jump on the bandwagon too. Not as fancy or expensive as a turbo of blower (I paid $175 used and its a cheater system adjustable to 250), but it gets the job done quite well:
