Tell Alvin I said Hi!!!
He promisses to get the prom just right to your satisfaction. Don't see that much anymore.
I am going to collect data this weekend using a trial run of TTS software. I will then send it to Alvin for him to upgrade the program. He will then forward the program to me to burn into my chip using Pocket Programmer.
Damn technology is great!!!!   |

First time going all out WOT actually!
Unbelievable power. Willie once told me to bring a change of underwear when I first tried the boost!!! Ha!
I sent the data to my Prom programmer who will make adjustments as necessary.
Hey Willie, you still followin this post. Have not heard from you in months.
Oh well. I'll have to have all the fun here without you!!!! :lala: :lala: :lala: |

Car: 1988 Camaro IROC-Z Engine: 350 TPI (L98) Transmission: T56 Axle/Gears: 9-bolt 3.45 | I'm interested in how this is progressing. I have a question though. Will this install work on a stock setting camaro? My battery is on the passenger side, and the cannister is the the middle on the drivers side. Will I need to relocate anything before I can get the twin intercoolers to work? |

| Iroc Z,
The kit comes with a bracket to relocate the battery.
Not sure about the vacuum canistor. Mine was already relocated.
These items are actually minor compared to the rest of the install. |

If you were to start on a stock car, hypothetical, how long would the total install take in hours? Just a wild guess will do, I want to plan the time off work that I will need to install everything and get it running. Plus a little extra to rest on |

| Lets see..........
I started the install about 4 months ago and am in the tuning stage now.
I took off 2 weeks during Christmas and got the bulk of it done at that time.
I had done a few other little weekend things prior to that.
It is a fun project, but don't be affraid to work hard and be creative!

| Yea, that would help.
I have another to drive when the supercharged car is down.
My adjustable fuel pressure regulator just died so it will be down for a few days for that repair.
Always something with older modified TA's!!!
Good luck. |

Car: 89 Formula / 98 TSi Engine: None / 4G63 Transmission: None / 5 spd | What size intercoolers does the "kit" use? I would like to do something similar with my car.
I am also debating putting on a 91-92 nose and putting them behind where the turn signal/fog lights go. |

| some questions for you all?
1-why use rubber hose? would not pvc, stainless tubing, or somethinf else work better?
2-does installing colers so close to the front end cause any clearance problems? we all remember how the lower spoliers rub on our z and ta's?
3- looked for willies post on tenicious web site and could not find it?
and just a comment..
checked willies info, and more pics on z web site, and i am totally impressed on his pics, attention to detail, and plan of attack . so willies here to you dude!:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: |

Why not use rubber???? I wouldn't want to try fitting something rigid through the entire system. does installing colers so close to the front end cause any clearance problems? we all remember how the lower spoliers rub on our z and ta's?
I wouldn't go looking for driving it off road, but if it can clear the front bumper, it will clear the intercoolers. You can see in photos above. looked for willies post on tenicious web site and could not find it? http://www.tenperf.com |

Car: Firebird Engine: 383 Transmission: 700R4, lots of Mods | Hi all, I have a '89 bird with a P1SC two core IC. I need more air flow to cool the motor, on hot days my temp goes to 220. Anyway I was wondering if this 2 piece IC will work on a 1989 bird. My IC blocks alot of air flow going to the radiator. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Car: 91 Formula Engine: 305tpi-blown head gasket RIP Transmission: T-56 Axle/Gears: 10 Bold 3.23 | pvc works but it is a temporary solution at best. The standard hardware store stuff is schedule 40, thick stuff, it does make for some clearance issues. Also it is not stable enough for underhood temps long term. The pipe I used is starting to deform in places. One piece on the blower intake side had to be replaced with a 90deg rubber hose, it works but I lose about 4lbs boost over the old setup untill I get a proper piece made up.

| Just an update to this post.
I have added an alky injection system to help eliminate any predetonation.
Willie swares by this in the Arizona heat and my climate is not much better in Louisiana.
Once the kit is tuned I will be upgrading to the 15 # pulley.
Here is a photo of the alky controler.
Will update with some dyno numbers once I get the new pulley installed. |

| Its been going just fine with my original set up.
I tried running the 15# pulley, but had problems with cold start up.
I had terrible popping through the intake and blower.
I went back to the original pulley and all is fine.
The car is still very fast and fun to drive.
I recommend this set up for anyone interested in a supercharger. |

Car: 91 Z28 Engine: currently 350...BUILT 383 soon Transmission: T56 w/4.10's | im looking to do a similar set up for a twin turbo system and was wondering how much air do those intercoolers flow each? how much power can they support? im looking for 800 RWHP which would equate to around 1000 FWHP. |

Hey Sean I just sent you and email. I'm interested in seeing your setup personally, if you don't mind. I know my car is a Z28 but seeing is believing. I understand my setup would be more like Willie's. But I'd like to see exactly what I'd be getting into as far labor goes. I have another mode of transportation so My Z28 could sit up for a while to complete the install in a timely matter. I take off work for the winter so I'll have time to do plenty of MODs. I've ordered numerous parts from Spohn, Lon (TDS) and a few little hard to find stuff off eBay, so I plan to totally finish my car by spring. Your install looks awesome. Great Job!!!
Toney

Car: Buick Engine: 231 Transmission: 200r4 | Mypontiac what do you have the smc kit pump speed set at , and is it the progressive kit?
Popping through the intake usually indicates a lean condition. It's crazy for me to see you running only 23# injectors. What is your vacuum line off at idle fuel pressure? It is boost referenced AFPR right. I'll bet the injectors have a duty cycle of 95% if not more. |

| It is the progressive kit.
I have it set about 4/5 to max position.
Stock FPR. The AFPR kept blowing??? So I went back to stock.
Yes, I figured that it was a lean condition due to the added air flow even at idle with the bypass active.
There is still a noticable difference in idle with the blower active vs. not active.
I have not persued determining the duty cycle of the injectors. I used the flow rate recommended by Willie. I have a air/fuel ratio gauge and monitored it during the programming of my custom chip.
Everything is fine with the pulley that was developed with this chip.
As you know, I tried using a smaller pulley and things were not happy.
I have made myself stay content and the car runs perfect.
Hope this helps.
