Vortech V4 Z Trim

G'day,

I was just wondering if any of you guys have had any experiences with the Vortech V4 Z Trim Centrifugal Supercharger???

I'm looking at putting one on an injected 474 Pontiac engine

That is a BIIIIIIIIG blower. The largest I have ever seen on a thirdgen is one of their XX-Trim blowers. And it took up a **** load of space on the drivers side.

Vortech V4 Z Trim

It will actually go on a 1960 Pontiac...heaps of room in that engine bay. It will use aluminium heads,Victor single plane manifold, twin throttle body setup with large injectors.

I agree with GUIDO...PLUS you will not find too much about those blowers because Vortech JUST released them...Its so now infact they dont have many specs out on it yet.... I doubt if Many/ANY mainstream guys have their hands on one at this point...

That would make some SICK power thats for sure...Id love to have one but am looking more at a YS trim upgrade down the road...

Yeh,
I know they are only new.
I know that they are pretty huge aswell...That's why I want one!!!!

I'm getting parts from Jim Butler.... everything except the block shipped to Australia. I should be doing that around christmas time. Then I'll be getting it assembled and then work out the fuel injection side of things....then the huffer on the side.
It should be good for 200 or so BHP...hahahaha!!!!!

what sort of injectors would you guys recommend???

You all sound like you are into High Performance.....that's why I'm here!!!
