Nitrous Ignition

I will be putting a nitrous kit on my LO3 shortly and need to upgrade to an aftermarket ignition. I was just wondering what you all would recommend from your own experience. Also, I've heard conflicting remarks about whether or not i need a rev limiter ignition setup with the nitrous. Let me know. thanks in advance.

Donnie

I would go with the Mallory Highfire Ignition
it is Cheaper in price, but not in quality
has all the features of the MSD plus some more
like window switch
start retard
timing retard
rev limiter
.......etc

I'm running the MSD Digital 6+ Box now.

start retard, dual rev limiters (high & low), single stage retard, etc.

I plan on getting a Jacob's nitrous mastermind next.... Nice combo

Any special plug combos to use on mine? I heard to use stock plugs (non platium) if you use nitrous, is this true? Also what is a Jacobs nitrous mastermind? Thanks.

You'll want to go a heat range or two colder..

Autolite, AC Delco, NGK, etc.

Just cheapy $.89 plugs...

The jacobs mastermind is a progressive nitrous controller.. Allows you to have the nitrous come on over a set time or matched to rpm.

Easy on internals & traction.
