different nitrous plate systems and different jets

I was wondering if all the different brands of jets for nitrous systems work with all of the different brands of nitrous? I am also wondering if the size of the selinoids matter as to how much nitrous or fuel goes through a certain jet? Thanks in advance

the jets have different dimensions externally, I think NX and compucar use similar jets. the NOS and edelbrock are similar to each other too. the sizing of a jet needing to be used are critical of the orifices on the plate and number of them as well as selenoid size sometimes.

i emailed compucar today and they sent me the size of jets and the hp ratings so i took care of that problem and a good thing i did because the guy that i bought it off of said the jets were for 150hp and it turns out they were 275! that would have given me bottom end a wake up call in a hurry.
For anyone that could use the jetting needed for compucar nitrous systems

50 HP 39N 39F
125 HP 52N 52F
175 HP 59N 62F
225 HP 70N 73F
275 HP 78N 81F

yeah I didnt think thats what you meant. I figures you meant the outer dimensions. as far as compucar's jet sizing; the 225 for compucar is about the same as the 150 for NOS. a jet around .070 (70 jet) flows about 6 lbs/min at 900-1000 psi. 6 lbs min of N20 is 150 hp. I could never get the deal with compucar but when I told my friend this, he was running compucar and couldnt figure out why he didnt pick that much up on the compucar system with the 150 jets as he did with the same car and a super powershot on 150. I had him put in the 225 jets into the compucar and it ran the same 1/4 as his 150 in the NOS plate. in the end he switched plates to get the extra HP of the compucar 275 over the super powershots 150. When I saw his tiny little superpowershot sized selenoids I knew something was up. it turns out they have the same .083-.087 " internal max orafice on the nitrous selenoid. which is like capable of around 7 lbs/hr of nitrous or 175 hp max observed. dont get me wrong other manufacturers are guilty as well even my favorite (NX). they tend to go the other way though on some kits, go figure.

if the 225hp jets are only 150 what would the 50hp jets put out some thing like 15hp. Thanks for the heads up though i would have really been wondering whats going on. I will probably get the 225 jets and 175 jets and see how it goes from there. I want a set for 100 and 150. I put my selinoids on the fire wall and ran line from there to the plate should this have any effect on how the system preforms?
