I believe we took them off a car mustang with a huge turbo. They may even be low impedance. I guess if anyone knows off hand it would be helpful, but I probably just need to ship them off to be flowed and worked and then I can get an idea of what they are. They say D1163AA on one side and 621030 on the other. Anyone know of a reasonable place to ship to and have these cleaned, flowed, and matched etc. ?
Those appear to be some lucas style (I know that other companies made them also) red stripe injectors, which should be high Z (take an ohm meter to them, what resistance do the coils measure across the terminals? Typically high Z injectors are over around 10, low Z are usually in the 4 or so range) and 38/40lb/hr (I’m not sure what the deal is with the discrepancy in ratings, but some say they’re 38’s and some say they’re 40’s), but the #’s don’t match anything that I’ve seen before.
I’ve been playing with an injector flow bench, but I can’t really help you with the flowing/cleaning, yet…
They look like red stripes! Which would be 30lb/hr. One step up from a stock GN/TTA injectors. Then again I've noticed some companies include the rate in the stamping number. My old 36.5 lb/hr said 868(common reference) as the last three digits. If that is a general rule of thumb you either have 30's or 52's anything above 50 is a low impedance injector(as you prolly know).

I need to find out about these injectors but I dont want to spend $200 and find out they were 30#'ers, new ford 30#'ers are $239. I have been told by a few other people that they could be any size flow red stripe. Any one know of a place that doesnt charge $200 ($24.95 ea)? Would tbere be a better area to post the info on the boards?
Ha! I did a new google search using the 621030 number and found anderson ford motorsport has a Lucas part # listed as L-621030 which the L to them means "Lucas", and after looking at some other redstripe lucas injectors I was sure lucas is what these were. On the part #'s list it says:
"L-621030...........................................38 Lb/Hr Flow Rate"
I guess my next question is there a way to VOM check these for Z?

b4c, I can get them cleaned, flowed, etc for 100.00 at cody motor sports here in ga. Generaly its more but I know the owner let me know if I can help you. H ewill also give you a sheet of what each one flowed at 43.5 psi. I had sent him what I though were lt1 24 lb inj and when he cleaned and flowed them every single one flowed 26.6 lb at bar. "43.5psi"

Are you looking for a set of new injectors? I have a set of eight brand new Siemens-Deka 83lb/hr injectors that I got for a great price. After talking with Larry @ ASSC, these might be a little small for supporting an F-2 application. If interested, email me. I'm only looking to break even on the purchase price.
These are definitely low impedance injectors. If you are still using a stock ECN set-up, I'm not too sure if you could run these injectors either. I am planning on using a FAST EFI set-up, and thus the low impedance would be no problem. They are damn good injectors from what I've read and been told, and based on the prices I've seen quoted compared to others. But I'm afraid I'd have to run them with at least a 90% duty cycle to support a mild F-2 tune-up, which really starts asking alot of the injector. Just thoght I would put the info out there in case you or any others might be interested.
Originally posted by B4Ctom1 good idea, I have been told that using that little "in line" tuning buffer box from accel you can run low impedance injectors with any ECM.
I belive your talking about the accel VIC box.
if I recall Tim has his for sell now.
how well do those boxes work? I have been told by chip burners they are useless. Yet I saw one at the NHRA event under the hood of the yellow "Corda?" firebird I believe it was he had one on his wheelie making 11 second "NHRA stock" LT1?
BTW these days I believe he is running low 10's in a 01' firbird which I think has a LS1 but I dont know, when I saw his LT1 car at LVMS it was the old car with the LT1 back in like 00' but from the looks of this newer picture his wheelies are still the same...
