I've been in the process of putting a single kit, just like the BBS deisign, but found a couple of used turbo for sale online. One which was mentioned didnt give me much information. All that i got in the email was
"Turbonetics turbo, either a t60 or t61. The intake housing has 62 stamped on it. That is the only idenifying marker" Is this turbo capable with my setup or is it too much? Im looking for about 400-450hp @ 6lbs of boost.

Looks like a carbon seal turbo. Might check with the guy and see if he knows. They were good for blow through carb systems but the dynamic seal is what you want. If the housing is stamped 62, it is probably a 62-1.
thanks BD, im still a noob and finding a turbo that would fit my application, i must admit all these numbers and letters are bit confusing. T61, T60, T061, T3,T4 its like WTF, lol. If you have any idea on any turbocharger that would be best suited for my application, please jot it down, it would really be appreciated. thanks anyway

Vortech: that T3/T4 hybrid will probably be too small to make 400-450hp. The T04E line is better suited to that.
Mike: I was looking at the backplate on the 62-1 turbo in the pic. Turbonetics used to use the red backplates for all their carbon seal applications on the larger turbos.
