I guess the obvious way would be to use a plate behind the throttle body. But what about sandwiching a plate system between the plenum and the base? That way you wouldn't have fuel misting all around inside the plenum. Any reason why this couldn't work? (My HSR is going in my Chevelle, so I'm not worried about hood clearance issues. I have plenty.) Yes, I'm dreaming in la-la land, but I'm just curious if there is an obvious reason a setup like this would NOT work. -Dave

IMO, it would work better than the plate behind the TB, and You probably could push a bigger shot in there as well. The only downside I can see is the complicated plate setup, since You would have to make up plates with separate spraybars for each pair of runners. Actually, nozzles in the plate would probably work better than spraybars. This would be similar to the plates they run with roots blowers...but it is also very likely that, for a shot around 125 it might not be worth the effort and expense...

I used a nx single nozzle system with no problwms at all on my stealth ram. I sprayed 100,150, and 175 with no probs at all.
