Sprayed the TBI on the dyno

Well I got the RS to the dyno today. First NA pull was

176hp
232ft lbs

50 shot
200 hp
306tq

75 shot
230hp
325tq

100 shot
302hp
394tq

I will post the graph when they get it up.

305 TBI small cam (stock LT1 size) 6speed moser 12 bolt 4.10's On Nittor DR. on a Dyno Jet!

I was looking for 250hp and 350 tq on the 100 shot. I let the car cool good and got the bottle temp to 1,100 on the 100 shot. I pulls real good now. (I just need to learn to shift it faster now)

from 75-100 you gained 72hp????

sure it wasn't a 125 shot?
and that helped you get another 125hp from the NA run?

was this real wheel? or just motor?

It was RWHP. I didn't let the car cool any between the NA runs up to the 75 shot. Before I ran the 100 shot I let it cool for about 45 min. and got the bottle pressure up to 1,100psi.

I am using NX kit with a NOS Plate, with NX jet settings. Jetted for 100RWHP. I also only made on NA run. It might make more power than 176 hp.

Good numbers.

If you don't mind me asking, how reasonable were their prices for the dyno pulls? I've heard it's hard to find a dyno that will let you use nitrous. I'll hopefully have my car running near the end of summer and would love to get some numbers. Btw I work in Huntington.

I was thinking the same thing. 16:1 AFR is scary. But it did drop after a little bit.

DON'T USE NITROUS EXPRESS SETTINGS WITH A NOS PLATE AND JETS!!! USE NOS SETTINGS!!!
Each companies jets are different. Nitrous Express jets are less than +/-1% tolerance. NOS have been known to be +/- 6% tolerance. This is why Nitrous Express makes their jets a different size so that they can't be used in any one else's systems.

Yep what he said. Look at how your making great power and then it spikes when you run out of fuel. If you give it some more bet you pick up quite a few more ponies.

Nice numbers. What are the actualy jet numbers you are using?

I made quite a bit more power N/A in my car, but even jetted at 130hp, I didn't quite touch the 300hp mark. (no bottle heater, so I'm sure my bottle pressure was low)

I also seem to go lean just like you when I open it up, I have since messed around with my AE some more, I need some more dyno time to tune that out.

new times

Started out on Nittos and a 100 shot. I think my best with that setup was a 8.63 The tires were spinning pretty bad. So I got tired of that and put my et streets on and went a 8.32 (100 shot)

Then I put in the 150 jets and went a 8.05 1.70 60ft @ 85mph. then a 8.07,8.08,8.08.

I really wanted it to go in the 7's maybe with a little more traction and some tuning it will be there. The car ran great and I had a blast shifting the gears. I will try to get some video's up for you guys to see.

I also wanted to run a 200 shot but I didn't have any jets for a 200 shot.
Might just have to stick with the 150.
