nitrous question

ok guy my 350 is going to have at least a 10:1 CR and its going to be a mainly n/a motor but i definitely want to spray while im at the track. would it be safe to run say a 50 shot? these are cast pistons too

yes, with proper safety stuff(low fuel press cut-off, window switch etc.)

get you a wideopen throttle switch and wire everyting correct and you can spray 100 all day and 150 occasionaly...

you'll get bored of 50HP really quick. There is no set point as to where a motor will blow up... Nitrous won't kill your motor detonation or too much power for the parts will. So long as your tune is good your motor will easily survive a 150 shot ...unless you're already making a ton of HP on those cast parts...

Make sure you have a good tune on the car and 150 won't be a problem. Pull timing, run 2 step colder plugs, good gas, and read the plug after a run.
