what is the the biggest size cams u can put in a 383 stroker with out the valves hitting the piston cuz right now i have a 282/282 with a 480 lift is this a decent cam cuz i didnt pick it out the guy that built this says its a good size cam with mid range but id like to get more power out of this motor

it's pretty wild and you'll need to check all your clearances, no one can tell you for sure. Also will probably need to machine your spring pockets to fit the required springs. I'd use at least a comp 987-16. This 443 cam is the new cam I'm planning on for my 355. A 383 will idle a little better.
Your TPI is hating life already. The heads probably won't like that cam either. But you didn't ask what would be the best one for your set up, just wanted to know what "big one" will fit. give bullitcams a try.
Why not just have whatever cam you want ground on a small base circle?
As far as actual cam timing, you’d have to give a lot more information about what you have and what you want out of it before anyone is going to do much more then throw out big numbers.
What’s the deal with bullet cams? I’ve never gotten them to answer their phone and got no response to their online cam request.
Your not getting the repsonses you are looking for because we don't have enough information. We don't know deck height, what kind of heads you have, head gasket thickness, flow numbers for the heads, quench height, piston brand, piston style, etc...
All that information goes into selecting a cam. If you can get some more info, we can probably point you in the right direction.
The cam you have now sounds pretty tame to me; assuming your duration is the advertised duration, not the .050 duration.
Whatever cam you decide to go with, after the install, adjust the rockers with the engine off and turn the engine by hand. You should be able to feel any piston/valve contact as long as you are careful. It's not a sure fire means of preventing piston/valve contact, but it's better than nothing.
My reccomendation (based on knowing absolutely nothing about your engine other than it is a 4.030 bore and a 3.75 stroke) would be:
114 LS
.565 / .575
232 /242
Something like that should make decent top end power, and will be semi-easy to tune. If you have a competent tuner in your area you might consider dropping to a 112 LS. Of course, if your heads flow well, or poorly, the recommendation would change. This is 100% a shot in the dark without some more info.
Last thing, it's easy to spend other people's money on the internet. People are always going to give you thier own opinions, which may not be the best for you. The best thing you can do is learn about what makes a good cam for certain applications, and why. Then you can make up your own mind, and choose a cam that will do exactly what you want it to.
