Blow-through fuel question

I have a blow-through Holley double pumper fed by a Carter strip mech. fuel pump and no blow-off valve. I'm getting fuel on top of the carb after hard acceleration (and flooding). Is it possible for the fuel pump to be pushing past the float under boost with the higher fuel pressure?

Get a surge valve.
When you get out of the throttle and the blades close- you still have all this air pressure in your intake tube that your boost referenced fuel pump is seeing. That is causing your fuel pressure to be higher than needed right after hard acceleration and over powering the floats.

Yeah, just get one of those cheap Blow off valves off ebay for like $40.00 shipped. They work great. I have the twin horn one and it works great and sounds great. I holds my 13 psi and does not leake like others.
