Nitrous Plate location

I just purchased the Edelbrock Nitrous system and was curious as where to position the plate.I run a one inch carb spacer so does the plate go on top of or below the spacer? What are the pros and cons of either position. The carb is the edelbrock 1407 750 cfm manual choke as part there total power package including cam, heads, and intake.Running about 11 to 1 compression.Have full MSD ignition with timing retard. Does anyone forsee any other problems.

Could the moderators forward this to the carb board so that it shows up on both forums.
