144 Holley Powercharger...

at least I think that's what it's called..

simple supercharger, single carb setup , I just need to know how tall the supercharger is , so I can make sure that it will fit under the ASCD ram air hood

9 inches tall from back edge of motor below the distributor mount bracket. Then add height of carb and filter.

I am toying with the idea of a Weiand 142 or 177 for my 383......simple design, no intercooler to hassle with nor extra plumbing nor oil cooler etc etc...... I guess that's why the pros use this design!!

Anyone out there have one on their car? Comments?

A buddy of mine used to run one on his Nova, before he stepped up. he is considering going to TT. here is the link to his site.

I dont recall if he had to have the scoop on it or not. I also think that there is a guy running around here in San Diego that has one under a small cowel hood in a 2nd gen camaro, but for some reason I think that it fits under the factory hood.

I had one under my third gen' hood & I had to buy an aftermarket hood. Stock hood will not close!!! I bought the daytona hood & it was still kinda close under there! After everything is dialed in U will love the way the car pulls!!With my 8.5-1compression 400sb , 144 b&m with stock dart 200 heads ,edel exh,373 gears, flowmaster 3in muffler, holley 750vac, 268 comp cam ( I know that its not a blower cam!) I was running 12.60@110mph with a 2.05 60ft & thats from real life experience son!
