It belongs on a TBI Dodge Ram, which I happen to know has the same size neck as a Chevy TBI or in my case a carb. The bonnet is aluminum.
It hasn't arrived yet, so I have no idea if it's any good or if it even fits. It might be junk. But if you're interested I will let you guys know if it clears my hood and if the quality is alright. I intend to duct this somewhere behind the front grille if I can.
I've got a cast aluminum bonnet from Turbonetics that has enough clearance to clear the Camaro hood, and a 3" round opening for the intake duct. This is going onto a 4 barrel throttlebody, which should be the same OD as a standard carb. It was around $75. Never been a problem...
The cast hat is probably about 2" tall, and the 3" round opening is even with the top, and blends up to the bottom of the hat. The intake is an Accel Pro-ram. I really need to get some more pictures (and of the 3rd link rear suspension for you).
