I have an 88 iroc with a stock 305 long block with edelbrock base, runners, ported plentium ati procharger p600b aftercooled 13lbs of boost car made 390 hp and 420tq to the wheels will I notice a gain from the stealth ram or should I just wait till I build another motor for the car?
Re: holley stealth ram on 305 ati procharged 13lbs
I think you will see a huge gain but the only problem i see is how long will the stock bottom end hold up with even "MORE POWER".I''m guessingg that your are only revving that thing to around 4800-5000 right? With the extra rpm and more power you might reach the limits of that motor.

I agree, my engine would be scattered if i revved it above 5500rpm. Thats why i still run a TPI intake. (it makes plenty of power anyways)

If you were to use the new intake even with the stock cam you would pull to 5500-6000 with no problem and the extra rpm is what would hurt you with the stock bottom end ,now when you build the new motor that thing will be sick with your setup...keep us posted

don't forget that the hsr requires "extra efforts" to seal the plenum to the base on boosted applications. i remember seeing one welded together on here, don't know how you'd get the dizzy in and out on an f-body though.
