I wanted to go roots on this last build with another set of heads, but all of the single carbed blowers that i looked at would only support ~550 at the crank from what i was told with out overdriving the hell out of them.

Oddly enough, I should be dropping my blown engine in the bay in a little over a week. Gotta say I'm jealous you can run a big cap HEI distributor with that setup, because I couldn't with mine which forced me to buy a whole new one....

Car: '86 Chevy Z28 Engine: 406-SBC Transmission: Auto w/Stall | Re: 1988 supercharged 383 pics Supercharged, lightly sand down the areas on the block where rust is starting to become prevalent (fuel pump, waterpump, etc.), and once your finished, lightly coat the area with some olive oil. This will prevent rust from developing in those areas again until your ready to install everything, and just before you install the parts, spray the area with some carb cleaner first to remove the olive oil from the block. You mentioned that the engine is already in the bay, so if the parts were already installed, then take the advice for any furture builds....
