450 hp 383 tpi

I found an article on superchevy.com. They did a build up of an l98 from a corvette. They put a 383 kit in it, a new cam, ported the plenum, and base. They got aftermarket tpis throttle body and runners and ported the stock heads. They got it to pull to 6000 rpm's and it made 458 hp and 534 lbs-ft of torque. I thought that was pretty amazing. Oh and heres the link http://www.superchevy.com/technical/...ion/index.html

Yup, bigger ci, bigger intake, bigger heads will make more power. Now all it needs is a 200 shot of nitrous.

I read that one a while ago. Pretty darn good for some stock heads. I wonder how much more torque it would make with some RHS vortecs.
