What turbo are you guys using with your BBS headers?
Hey,
You guys running single turbo setups with the BBS Designs header... what turbo are you using?
I'm in the planning stages of a single turbo setup. It looks like the BBS header really limits the size of the turbo you can use (hood clearance). So I'm just curious what turbos you guys are using.

they should make a kit with 1 3/4 1/2 flanges and a mount for a t6 exh housing. to fit the third gen . if they did i would proably buy it instead of welding my stailess steel set up right now.
Re: What turbo are you guys using with your BBS headers?
I have a 62-1, but i think its at it max. So i am going to be upgrading to a turbonetics T-76. The one that is the same dimensions as the 62-1. So i know it will fit. Then we'll see if the ole L98 will hold together for some single digit passes.

^ Should hold as long as detonation is kept in check. My buddy Paul's Grand National is running with a race weight of 3475-lbs, stock ported iron heads, mild flat tappet cam, mease plenum w/70mm throttle body. Stock block, pistons, rods AND crank. 71-GTQ turbo, #75 delphi injectors, v2 FMIC, twin Walbro 340 fuel pumps, dual nozzle alkycontrol meth injection, stock headers, stock ECM w/Turbo Tweak chip, lc-1 WB w/directscan, innovative electric boost control w/HKS gate. Best run to date 10.41 @ 127, w/20+psi, Click Here....

^ That Mustang had a horrible reaction time, and an even worse sixty foot. Did you see the rubber he was running out back, it appeared he was running the stock rims w/tires for crying out loud. He should have been in the elevens, but either way though, he was still no match for the Grand National....
