1000$ budget

I have been working alot lately and i have saved up around 1000$ bucks to put on my 86 iroc with a 87 L98. the car is bone stock and i was wondering if there where some good things i could put on exept a exhaust line. the car is a dayly driver and needs to stay reliable. what are your suggestions? or would it be better to just get a nice par of rims ect...

Some reason why you dont want to tackle the exhaust system upgrade? Even a set of headers and y-pipe?

Suspension bushings, motor mounts, tranny mounts. Urethane. That'll keep it reliable and prove useful.

All those bushings are already changed hehe. i was also thinking of buying a donner car eather a firebird or camaro with a t-5 and swaping manuel. would this be posible or to much work? for an average guy.

also i sayd no exhaust lines because it is already planed out of the 1000$.

Im a little cunfused really. i dont know if i should go towardes performance or looks. its my little birthday gift to my self for my 18th b-day.
