Pablo's forgoten Camaro Project

Remember this guy?
Well that is Pablo a very good friend of mine and that picture was taken on Janauary 21, 2006 and the car is still on the garage!!! He stopped the project basically because the stock 25 year old fuel pump died and he was too lazy to replace it and also other things that need to be finished.
I convinced him to let me finish the project, of course he is going to pay me for that , but at least the Camaro will see the streets very soon.
I started this thread to show the progress.

Currently the fuel pump was replaced with a new one and all the wires and hoses on the engine bay have been organized.
Tomorrow I will start working on the intercooler piping, I already installed a "Y" pipe and elbow into the TB, also since the Camaro has the stock computer and chip I will be doing the MAF trick which is basically locating it in the pressure side of the turbo system as seen in the picture.

The Camaro still needs:
Intercooler piping, muffler shop visit to hook up the downpipes with the rest of the exhaust pipe and to re-weld the muffler which had to be cut down to remove the tank. Pablo invested some $$$ and bought all new Stewart Warner gauges that need to be installed, also the car has a short somewhere, and the 700R4 transmission is shot and the T56 swap is also on the list (Andris give me a call, I need a 3rd gen/T56 crossmemeber!). To address the fuel demand he will be running a 10:1 FMU and 24# Ford blue injectors and get the most RWHP out of it.
Hopefully the car should be running in about 3 weeks since I am working on it on my free time only. The T56 still needs some attention, but at least everything else, hopefully, will be done by that time.

OK,
FMU is installed, fuel pressure gauge, intercooler and the top inlet pipes with the Tial BOV. Still needs to hook the lower inlet pipe connecting to the IC.

The T56 is going to the shop today to be repaired, this the only thing that is getting the project from being complete after I finish all the other things.

Here is the latest pic.

Lookin' good. It is great to see a project being finished. Is that one of those "ebay" FMUs? Have you used one before? If so, how has the reliability of the unit?

Those are MP T3 turbos right?

The FMU's brand is unknown. Pablo had it in a box, I think is a Vortech FMU though.
Yes those turbos are Master Power T3, the ones that came with the kit when I made it for him a couple of years ago.

We started the engine and it revs up quickly, it seems that it still healthy. I am not surprised if it hits the 400-450rwhp mark at low boost.

Re: Pablo's forgoten Camaro Project

It's alive!!!!!

The car is running, twin turbo style! I finished everything except for the transmission swap since Pablo has not received his t56 from the repair shop. The car was fired up yesterday and despite the 700R4 condition (700R4's condition: shot) Pablo took the Camaro for a ride around the neighbor, the smile in his face= priceless...

Here are some pics of the engine bay now and the FMIC with the connecting pipes.
