Re: what kind of power adder can i put inmy camaro that is cheap.
I agree w/what others have pretty much said. Notice hes not posting replies anymore. Save your 500 for maintenance and emergencies. You dont need nitrous and you dont have the money for it anyways.
Sure we all get a street race once in a great while and we might loose and feel like we need more power. How much street time does your car see without racing or the need for the extra power of nitrous? So as said before, if your not taking it to the track, which your not, then you dont need nitrous.
I think you would be far better with the exhaust mod. Sure it might only be %30 of the nitrous power but your car will sound good, look good and you dont run the risk of damaging parts by doing something stupid. Plus, its a base mod and you need to get those out of the way before you move to bigger things. What good is nitrous or FI when you have stock exhaust with restricted manifolds holding you back from making full power off of it???

Saigon-Bob, Hey, I'm not being at all disrespectful to you in the least, but I have to ask, at 21 years old, What do you do for a living? I want in Good for you Dude!!!!!! You also make my point! You are building your "Race" car, not you "DD". Like I said before, I totally agree with you, I just didn't know you were young with that kind of budget to spend on the car. You have to know you are not the norm. Totally COOL!!!!!! I just read in here so many guys who don't have money, but want to go fast!!!! Just can't happen. The more you beat it, the more it breaks.

No offense taken.
While its true your piece-meal setup is <$400, by the time you pay someone to weld it all together, you're at or near the cost of a set of headers already done and ready for installation, such as the Hooker 2055's. If you can weld it yourself and you can sneak it by a smog tech, then you're golden.
