Another new setup with nitrous

Well I swapped out the summit TPI cam(420/440 lift) , performer intake and edelbrock 600 carb. I swapped in an Comp Cams XE268. 477/480 lift 268/280 duration. Swapped my performer intake for a performer rpm intake and put a holley 600 carb on. The numbers before were 189hp/225tq. Now its 213hp/234tq.Im really happy with that considering I have 30* of timing and it was 89degrees.Went back a week later and ran it on nitrous. I had 1 run that was 309/351 but it spun a bit and the graph shot up. but the good numbers are 297/342. I didnt even move the timing. Looks like its time to upgrade the y-pipe.Seems the motor wants to flow a little more and the headman y-pipe might be making it choke a little. Gonna try that before I step up to LT. The A/F is also alot better than last time.

A small recap on the car

Stock tpi,700r4, no cat 141hp/227tq
Shorty Headers, y-pipe, Hooker catback 148hp/230tq
Carb, performer intake, summit tpi cam kit, 700r4 178hp/228tq
Swapped out tranny for th350 and 3k stall 189hp/225tq
On 150 shot 289hp/321tq
Comp XE268 cam, Performer RPM, 600 holley, 2400 stall 213hp/234tq
On 150 shot 297hp/342tq

Re: Another new setup with nitrous

Do you have an msd box yet, or something similar? I'd think that'd bump 10-20rwhp in there. Seems like your making just 10-20rwhp less than my old 305 did with similar mods, not that that's huge between different dynos and what not.

Re: Another new setup with nitrous

I have a 6AL box and an Accel super coil to put on. I plan to do that here soon along with a digital window switch.
