Must have the buldge hood...
I have a 91 Formula...

I've never really been too thrilled about where the Air intake is (hmmm. just above the headers!!!) so I was thinking, why not use the buldge hood to get some nice cold air in... Replace that plate with the screen sold on the 82-84 TA's to let air in...

Adding some tubbing and some knida flange, gasket and maybe one of these...

So once the hood was closed, this would suck in cold air from the buldge...

I have though about that too. I even bought an old cowl induction setup from an old carbed bird to possibly use. I found this car on the net; it's a Camaro but it's the same idea.

The stock piece looks too restrictive... that link you posted seems to be the way to go, but of course, it would have to be closer to the driver's side to acces the opening in the hood...
