SBC Single Turbo Conversion Upgrade from SSAUTOCHROME

I have been wanting to put a single turbo on my '91 Trans Am GTA for a while now and I ran across a single turbo upgrade kit from SSAUTOCHROME on Ebay. The kit looks very nice and it says that it fits all small block Chevys including the 283, 305, 325, 350, and 400. It seems like a good buy for $200. Is there anybody out there running this kit or do you maybe know of someone running this kit? I was just wondering if it would work on my '91 GTA and if it does work on my car, what kind of modifications would have to be made to install the turbo kit? My car has the 350 Tuned Port engine. Any information on this kit would be appreciated. Thanks.

do a search on here for ssautochrome. There's lots of horror stories about those paper thin manifolds cracking off.
There's a reason it's that cheap....

You can take a look here for starters: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/po...bay-turbo.html (Yet another Ebay turbo question (Not the normal one))

The wall thickness is .049" (18 gauge). The S/S pipe is non-magnetic. The flanges are 1/2" mild steel. I made a mild steel brace from the fuel pump bracket to the T4 flange.

I have not run this setup on an engine yet. Too much other stuff to do right now.

BTW, why have two threads asking the same question.......do you check both for answers?

This kit is designed to put the turbo on the passenger side of the car isn't it? And I put two threads on here because I figure maybe different people look at the two different forums.

Yeah, all kits put it on the pass. side because of the downpipe. Take a look at the pics.
Nah, you have two different threads in the power adder forum started by you with the same question.

Just by looking under the hood of my GTA, it looks like a lot of modifications need to be made to put this kit on. What kind of modifications am I looking at here? My bad for having two of the same threads in this forum. I appologize.
