Sometimes it's best to start out fresh. I'm an auto electrician (Among other things) and I would order the harness too.

I really didn't want to. And I know I can make one, I know where to get the components and plugs. I just don't have the schematics

The schematics are the reason I would order one and not make one. They do that deliderately. Have you checked on www.mr12volt.com yet? Sometimes they have stuff I need (Though, not often.)
