Going from a single nozzle to a plate setup...

Just purchase a used Holley nitrous plate for $50. I was really wanting a nitrous outlet plate but $285 just sounds a little steep to me. Got a few questions:

Does anyone have this plate, and does it hit a lot harder than just a single nozzle?

Any gains going from nozzle to plate?

Is there anything more than just putting on the plate and spacing the throttle bracket forward, then setting the TV cable?

Does anyone else other than holley sell the plate to space forward the throttle bracket? Its $25 from Jegs. Ill probably just make one.

I'm not sure how much difference you'll see but yes you've got it correct just install the spacer plate thing for the TV cables and throttle bracket and put the plate in. I got my spacer for the throttle from Auto Zone, just get the part number out of the NOS instruction manual for the NOS 5050 kit and order it.

I didn't even think about auto zone, I'll just do that then since there isn't any shipping involved with that. I would wind up paying $40 for a little plate from jegs with shipping. Appreciate the info man.

I will see how much of a gain in probably around thanksgiving, I'll run the car a few times with the nozzle setup I got now and then run it a few times with the plate and see how it does.
