I install the IAT right before the throttle body usually. I also use a 1990 V6 MPFI IAT sensor. It responds quickly but is more fragile than the v8 TPI IAT. |
I'm like 90% sure the stock sy/ty used the same kinda mat sensor the tpi cars used. and with that $58/$59 is setup needing to know the mat not just the iat. the table for it to look at the coolant temp is not enabled. it would be best to see the air temp spike under boost and pull timing based on it but gotta keep in mind how the ecm/bin handles that info.
