Best Supercharger Crank and Pulley size?

I am curious what is safe for a supercharger Crank and pulley size with an 8 rib? Let say I went with 8" crank pulley size and would a 3.40" diameter pulley be safe for a 350cid Goodwrench Engine?

Just curious and let me know thanks.

What type of blower do you have? Is it a Vortech or a Paxton?

Re: Best Supercharger Crank and Pulley size?

I was thinking of getting a ATI Procharger D1SC. I was told that they do have a 8" Crank and 3.75" pulley that would fit the charger, but not sure about the belt length. I try finding information if there is a 8" crank and 3.75" pulley out there, but no luck.

Thanks.

Re: Best Supercharger Crank and Pulley size?

Well on my basically stock engine with a 7.65" crank and 4" blower pulley I would get 10psi at 5500RPM, with a 3.4" would end up with around 16PSI depending on pulley slip. This is on a D1SC blower but should give you a idea what to go for.
