i posted the specs of most of the setup before... its a stock short block
355ci about9:1cr, comp cams 218/218@.050 462/455 114lsa
afr195cc heads, csu blowthru 750, vic jr, turbonetics TC78 .96a/r t4, jgs 50mm wg, jgs 56mm bov,
12x24x4 a2a intercooler, msd 6al btm, msd pro billlet dist., aeromotive a1000 etc.
unmodified hooker shorty f-body headers, 2 1/2" from each collector merging into single 3" to the turbo, 3 1/2" downpipe to 3 1/2" dynomax bullet, 3" coldside
should have it at the track in 2 weeks or so... hope to run mid 11's...i have some other weak links....mainly the stock 7.5" rear
im going to run it on 7 & 10psi to start thingsoff. pump gas of course
had this turbo on the same stock shortblock last year for a little while, but it was a different hotside, stock iron heads and a little smaller cam, ran real strong on 7-10psi and 93 octane, hoping to get a summer out of it making some good power this year.
thank you! i hope it works good. i drove it a little bit today, but ive got to get ahold of kevin @ csu and get some jet baselines to start with because i am a little too rich under part throttle and a little too lean under boost. but its definately making some good power so far. i spooled up 10 psi twice today for a few seconds and decided it was alittle too lean for the stock shortblock. (getting readings of anywheres from 12 to 13:1 on the wideband..... id like to keep it around 11.5:1....)
ooo very nice, just about exactly what i would like to have done to mine, even down to the paint, but you should remove your grill and cut out the part of the bumper behind it, looks sick.

thank you very much. yes it is a blowthru 750 built by kevin at csu. i messed with the timing over the weekend and found some major power, i have it timed at 38* and retarding it to about 25* under boost and this thing is pretty rediculous for only 7psi and 93 octane.
below 40mph or so the small MT slicks arent doing much good. i tried a "boosted" launch on the road and spun the tires for about 340 feet and let off at like 60-70 mph....
totally awesome for a street drivable car! hoping to get it to the track the weekend of june 6th... ill post results.
What is that under your hood, feeding the carbs? I thought it was a fuel pump, but it looks like a regulator? Or filter? Can you give a model and part number, i'm curious.
If it is the regulator, how did you boost reference it, since the top port doesn't look connected?
its my fuel pressure regulator, its fed with -10an line, two -6an's to the carb, and -8an return to the cell. the top is how you adjust/set the base fuel pressure, theres a small nipple on the side that is referenced from the compressor of my turbo. 1psi fuel per 1psi boost.

yes it does go through the fender. it is routed fairly tight to the body side of the inner fender. it clears the skinnies at full turn, with weight on it, and so far no touch from suspension travel, i plan on running a 225/50/16 on stock rims, and i may have to "clearance" it witha dead blow just slightly... not much tho. just oval it a little where the tire will be closest.
the down pipe then runs towards the trans tunnel/driveshaft and towards the rear end witha dyno max bullet and a turndown. for now.
im putin in a th400 also pickin it up from the shop tomorrow, and could you post a pic of the down pipe because im doin a single and lookin for the best way to run the down pipe without cutin the fire wall for clearence

I ran mine similar where the headers are normal, but my turbo is on the driver side with both supply and dump hot pipes under the k-member. Just have never liked the hillbilly look of flipped shorties, and plus this way a lot of pipe is out of sight.

could you also post pics, im just lookin for the best way to run it, and i have the torque arm and mount for it , but i have i 4 speed in it now, and went with the th400 mount to hold it and it works fine, just not likein the 4speed any more, that y everythinh for the 4 speed besides the mount is up for sale to get funds for this build

what diameter is it? do you have any better pictures?
im gonna try to take some pics tonight after work. the diameter of the down pipe is 31/2"
(the diameter of the front tire is probably a little shy of 26" im guessing)
