Twin turbo kit on Bodykits.com?

I've seen this twin turbo kit on bodykits.com,
this made me curious about it, and it looks to me like an ebay TT kit to me.
has anyone tried this before? I have heard that turbos would have to stick out of the hood, by looking at their picture they have up, looks like it is under the hood, but thats just my guess.
I like it, but I have heard alot of people say that ebay TT kits are junk, I wasnt sure if this is any different. (and the price isnt any different than a Ebay TT.)
I wouldnt buy this kit, or planning on it anyway, I dont have time to rebuild my engine to have the right specs to match for a TT. maybe eventually, but no where soon.

Re: Twin turbo kit on Bodykits.com?

mmm..id stay away from it probably. thats just me
one thing is the two pictures they show arent the same kits. the installed picture shows the turbos mounted in the center portion of the head/ vlave cover, and the parts pic shows headers that mount the turbos at the front end of the headers, which i think has been talked about before and they wont clear most accessory brackets, etc.

just my .02 cents

I'll take by your word.
I was wondering about that too, I didnt know how the turbos would hook up to the headers if the headers were pointing back
if anything, Im more curious why a company like bodykits would try to sell these turbo kits.
(Im looking into prochargers anyway, even though their pretty expensive.)

Re: Twin turbo kit on Bodykits.com?

procharger makes an awesome product and is pretty straight forward to install/operate, but dont give up on turbos yet, do a little more research. there might be a used BBS manifold out there, or a DIY kit that someone fabbed up, or a universal sts kit. turbos are pretty hard to beat imho. i love mine.

good luck!

Re: Twin turbo kit on Bodykits.com?

That is another picture of MY CAR under the hood. I think they stole it from the "Post Pictures of Your Power Adders" sticky. One company stole the picture and they are all passing it around now, selling it as their product, false advertising and ripping people off! I just don't know how to stop them from using it. I DO NOT have that crap ebay turbo "kit". I built custom headers from scratch and they are nothing like the ones they are selling.
